Volkswagen of America, Inc. 2010 Mobility Access Program Rules
- Program Description: Volkswagen will provide up to $1,000 towards the purchase and installation of lift equipment, carriers, hand controls, pedal extensions or other assistance equipment on any eligible model.
- Eligible Vehicles: New and unused Volkswagen models.
- Clarifications: Purchase and installation of equipment, which cost less than the maximum allowed, will be paid at the actual cost. For example: Modifications, which cost $800, will be reimbursed at $800. Modifications which cost $1,500 will be reimbursed at the maximum of $1,000. To be eligible for this payment equipment must be installed in a new eligible vehicle purchased within the Program Period, as set forth above.
- Program Administration:
a. All eligible Volkswagen models must be reported sold or leased as a kind‐of‐sale “0” during the program period.
b. The following documents must be submitted:
i) 2010 Mobility Access Claim Form
ii) A photocopy of a signed Purchase (Bill of Sale) or Lease Agreement for a new eligible Volkswagen model must accompany the claim form.
iii) A photocopy of a paid invoice for a lift, hand control, or pedal extension installation on the Volkswagen model purchased.
c. To qualify for payment, buyer or lessee must complete the Mobility Access Claim Form and submit directly to VW. Claims may be submitted by fax or mail.

d. All payments will be made directly to the retail buyer or lessee.
Although VW offers the "Mobility Access Program," VW does not manufacture, sell, install, or warrant any adaptive driving or vehicles access equipment. Purchaser should contact an adaptive equipment retailer of their choice for information concerning the purchase and installation of such equipment.
